How Does Topic Targeting Work?
Topic targeting with Double Verify Universal Content Intelligence technology uses content ontology and custom-built tools to map and categorize content, combining ontology, machine learning, and human review.
Topics are created with broad terms that encapsulate the entire topic, as well as niche subtopics for more granular targeting. You can use topic targeting if you want a self-service topic targeting approach.
Double Verify Topics
Double Verify topics are powered by Double Verify Universal Content Intelligence Advertising. It is a best-in-class technology that analyzes webpage content using keyword-based matching to determine its underlying topic.
When selecting Double Verify Topics, you can see the estimated global traffic coverage from Criteo’s supply network.
Some publishers cannot be categorized effectively with Double Verify Universal Content Intelligence solution. By default, we will include these uncategorized publishers within your campaign’s target to help provide maximum reach.
If you want to remove this option, you can de-select the Web Uncategorized checkbox.
