🚀 Introducing Conversion Events for smarter optimization based on real user actions. 


What is it? 

Conversion Events allows you to track, report, and optimize on specific actions users take on your site captured through OneTag. These can include searches, add-to-carts, sign-ups, form submissions or other pre-sale or lead interactions that signal intent.  

By selecting the right events, you can attract more qualified users, move them further along the journey, and ultimately drive more sales or lead completions. 


Key benefits: 

  • Track & report: Monitor key user interactions before a purchase or lead submission and see which steps drive performance. 

  • Optimize: Choose any supported event as your goal to reach users more likely to complete that action and improve efficiency across complex journeys. 

  • Compare: Analyze event performance across ad sets and campaigns to identify which stages impact your business goals most. 


Why is it important? 

Shopper journeys are longer and more complex, with multiple touchpoints before conversion. Conversion Events help you understand and influence these earlier moments—not just the final sale—so you can: 

  • Improve efficiency and ROAS 

  • Reach the right users at the right time 

  • Support upper- and mid-funnel strategies 

  • Strengthen full-funnel measurement 

 
Where to find it? 

  • Ensure your chosen events are tracked in OneTag and implemented correctly.  

  • Once activated as eligible for an Objective, you can select these events as an Objective when creating a new ad set.
