The Regulatory Operating Costs will start to implement as of 01 January 2025 to all our new prospects and existing clients.Would there be any surcharges in the invoices for December 2024?
No, the invoices regarding December 2024 period (which will be issued in the first seven days of January) will not include Regulatory Operating Costs. When do we receive the first invoice with new surcharges?
The invoices regarding January 2025 will be including the Regulatory Operating Costs and these invoices will be prepared and shared with you in the first seven days of February 2025.How can I estimate the surcharge?
The additional Regulatory Operating Costs will be a % of your spending in Criteo on Commerce Growth. For spend related to campaigns targeting France and Spain, 2.5% of your spending will be added on top of your spending and will be invoiced to you. For spend related to campaigns
targeting Italy, 1.25% of your spending will be added on top of your spending and will be invoiced to you. What is the reason for this addition?
These Regulatory Operating Costs are being added due to the complexity and cost of complying with regulations in those countries.Does it make any change/effect to the invoicing mechanism or payment terms?
No, payment terms remain the same. What would be the details of the bills?
The Regulatory Operating Costs will be added on top of your spending in Criteo. In addition to that, all applicable taxes (only VAT as of today) will be added. As a simple example, if we assume you have spent 100 EUR in Criteo account on a campaign targeting France, the % will be added and
you will be receiving the invoice as 102.5 EUR + applicable taxes.Does the surcharge apply over campaigns targeting countries other than France, Italy and Spain?
If you are displaying multi-country campaigns, this will not have any impact on your invoices for other targeted countries as of today.Do I need to take any contractual action?
No, this is purely informative. The updates have been reflected in our Specific Terms of Service for Commerce Growth, which is automatically applicable unless otherwise specified in your service contract.
